Therapist Speed Dating
You’re invited to spend International Self-care Day 2018 with The Womanist Working Collective!

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
- Audre Lorde

Self-preservation can look like many different things. It could look like drawing boundaries between yourself and someone else. It could look like leaving situations that no longer serve you or have your best interest at heart. It could even look like sitting down and talking to someone who is committed to actually hearing you.

We know how important our mental wellness and spiritual health are to your overall well being and Quality of Life, we’re inviting you to participate in our therapy speed dating event called Helpers & Healers where participants will have an opportunity to connect with therapists to work with.

We believe that these helpers and healers have the potential to provide critical support for clients healing from trauma, navigating stressful life events or developing new tools for self-love and self-care journeys. Our collective recognizes how important finding a therapist or healer you can comfortable with is and are creating more spaces for Black women and femmes to access such care from people who share similar identities.
