A network of extended support dedicated to providing childcare to parents and guardians through cooperation
WWC Parenting Members &
Friends of WWC Sub-Collective
(A collective of verified Black women & femme parents within our networks, who may not be WWC members, but participate in this project of our work.)
Track A

Childcare Activities & Support budget
This budget is maintained by WWC and exists to support folks providing childcare with fund to care for the children or subsidize an emergency childcare solution in the event that no-one can provide childcare at the time.
Communication surrounding childcare needs takes place on Slack in the #VillageAuntiesCoop channel

Exchanges are recorded through WWC’s time banking website Reciprocity
Time Bank orientation will take place during your first meeting
Mandatory Meetings take place the last Sunday of the month from 12pm – 2pm
Meeting consist of building relationships with the Village Aunties who will be engaging with your child/ren, co-op housekeeping, parenting peer support group, knowledge-swapping
Parents are permitted 1 absence per season
